In just a couple of hours; Acme was able to install the parts this afternoon.

    Mr. C.G. Pettus at
    Edgewood Service Center

Edgewood was able to install the "Y" pipe after removing and replacing stripped nuts off the manifold studs.

Waldron's has lived up to the high reccomendations of those at V8Buick.com

Thanks to all, the Roadmaster is running quietly again!!

    Very Sincerely Yours

Thanks, John. It's nice, to drive around in quiet car! the "y" pipe was leaking for about two years. I was afraid of the studs and bolts on the manifolds. I had to find a replacement for a manifold (cracked), about 10 years ago. I didn't want to have to do that, again. But, it was loud. An ugly loud.

My neice is to be married next month. And, it's always been; her dream for me to drive her away from the wedding in the Roadmaster. It will be so much more appropiate; to do so quietly.

And, now with the proper back pressure: it seems to, pull away from; stops and, up the mountain much better!! Reckon, that's reality? Or, is it; just, me being more liberal on the throttle? Due to it running quieter?

    Reckon; which, is true?

My vote is it's running better. Clean cars run better too.

I can recommend Waldrens with no problems! I bought a dual exhaust muffler for my 62 LeSabre, they made it within 2 weeks! I spent $40.00 more and they made it out of Stainless! I had my cousins muffler shop install it and it sounds so sweet! It's worth the few extra bucks for stainless around where I live. I only want to do it once!
