Not to throw negatives at TA I called them 3 times and all I got was double speak. "Your guy doesn't know how to degree a cam" He builds 30 to 40 race engines a year and yes mostly Chev. When the measurement was taken fromthe lifter edge it was a total lift of 313 off the intake using a TA lifter. BAsically the car would not run. After many attempts to set the timing I was thinking the guy was stupid or smoking weed because a cam from TA would not be ground wrong. After dealing with this for 3 weeks a Comp Cams unit was installed in 3 hours and it runs fine. TA basically told me to send it to Schnider and they pretty much ignored me. It stings but it's not the worst screw job people have exoperienced. While I felt TA could have done something for me I also thought of how I would feel if I sold something to you 3 years ago and now your coming back with a problem. Just not a priority. My suggestion is dont spend years gathering parts for a build use them when you get them. My build was on a strict budget so I had to do it that way.
true to a point but i have read of similar situations on this board that were not old purchases from this very same vendor
