I hope the Skylarks are the same. Looking for a good used driver quality pair but good get by with one each of the plastic ends. Anyone? I need to get the back seat in again. Thank you. Mike
Here you go. I am having technical issues. I am also looking for a 14" Trim Ring and RR wheel molding. Cheers, Mike
I have a couple of trim rings and also have a RR wheel opening molding from a 69 if that is the same. Is that plastic end piece all you need, if so, I may have them on another GM A body car.
Thanks AzChevs. Can you provide photos so I can compare the RR wheel opening and trim ring? Yes just one each of the plastic end pieces will do. Thanks, Mike
Cool look forward to seeing them. Especially, the plastic ends as they are holding up the rear seats going back in.
The plastic piece are okay, I can cut the end of the trim off so you can take it apart. The wheel well molding is nice with one tiny ding in the middle, let me know if it will work for you. Are you in another country? Joe
Joe, Here's my RR wheel molding, looks like the GS is different. Is there a plastic tab on the other end as I need that also

68/69 rear wheel well moldings were different - short or long - based on if the car had side trim or not. All GS's did not have side trim, so they all got the long ones .. other versions of the Sky and Special varied. Only the SportWagon's got the long ones even if there was side moldings Where are you located ? I hate the idea of shipping one of these as they're almost guaranteed to get bent into a pretzel
I couldn't be further. I'm in San Diego. Maybe strapped to a piece of plywood then in a box. Alan, Ill send you a PM. Thanks, Mike
