I am looking for a needle in a haystack. The car may not even exist. I would like a 1970 GS, Aquamist, 4spd, bucket seat, A/C car. I would like it to have a numbers matching SP1 code engine, but if not that is OK. I do not want a auto that has been converted to a stick. Must originally be a manual car. Black Vinyl top would be prefered. I would consider cars from basket case to #2 cars. If you want to trade up or down for my 70 GS that could be part of the deal.
Matt, SP1????? No such engine code...... it will be SR or SS (ss is stage1). You will be looking for a long time...best bet is to find a 4 spd car and then paint it the color you like....not too many of those color cars exist.
Yeah. I think it is a board members(GSJO's?) I would love it, but because it is a Stage 1 it will be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of my range. I would hope that car would be $40K+ even in this market. Make that a 350 and you would be at $20k and than you are in my wheel house.
