Jim, I dont know for sure if they are the same, but I have 2 x 401 intake manifolds that use a q-jet carb. I believe they are 1965. $100.00 each
Hmmm..... Is there something interesting to add to the list of cars in your signature? Or are you going to have a '70 GS with a 61 Nailhead in it?
From what info I have been able to find, there is a difference in the mounting holes and port alignment between the 364 and the 401. I would like to find a 61 intake (casting #1173313) if possible. I know very little about the pre 1967 buick engines, so I hope some of the nail head guys will chime in with some help and/or corrections. The engine in question is intended for a friend's street rod project, thus sadly, no modification to my signature line. Jim J.
I have the manifold you need. Just took it off my parts car. Sandblasted it and chased all the threads. The 364 is unique among the nailheads and other manifolds will not fit it. I'd like $150 for the manifold plus shipping. Not sure about the shipping, but could perhaps be as much as $50 because of the weight. I also have Carter AFB cores if you want to go that way. I also have a used Edelbrock carburetor that I had on my 57 Special (converted to a 4 bbl) that I used until I got an AFB to replace it. I'll sell any of these carburetors if you want them. If you would like, I can take pictures of it and send you an Email. Please contact me on gearhead46@centurytel.net
I have passed your e-mail address on to Mark, and he will contact you directly. Mail will come from mmurnane@........... His last name is pronounced "MIR-NAN". Thanks for your help. Jim J.
