I just recently purchased this car, and tugging on the hood release makes the popping sound but does not pop up hood unless you play with it a little. The hood latch in there now is seriously rusted and very lose so I'm hoping replacing it will solve the problem. If you could PM or post here the price, shipped to 32818 that'd be awesome. Thanks!
I don't have the part you need but if you clean up the latch release on the rad support and lube it with a light grease it will pop up like it should. Also do you still have the stock spring on the bottom of the hood?
Yes I still have the spring, I'll definitely try to lube it first and report back with results thanks! Update: So I PB Blastered it to death and it works, awesome.
