Which one? The one that sctews on to the valve cover,or the one, made of rubber, that goes on top of the AC bracket.Bruno.
Well, I was talking about the one that goes over the valve cover, I think it screws to the intake. I didn't know there was another one that goes on top of the AC bracket. I don't have anything holding the hoses except a zip tie. Looking to route them correctly for a 72.
There is a heater hose bracket that screws to the intake, but its for non A/C cars. To the best of my knowledge, there is no bracket for an A/C car.
If you have a 71 or 72 assembly manual you can see a schematic of the heater hoses and a/c hoses and how they lay in the motor compartment. If you don't have the manual, I could send you a copy of that page. Matt
I think I know which one you are talking about, the actual engine lift hook mounted on the RH front of the intake. The heater hose probably routes through it. I may have an extra one.
The heater hose does not go through the engine lift bracket. The long heater hose bracket you are talking about is for 71-72 non-AC cars only. Duane
I stumbled across this one I've had about a hunnert years... MAY even be NOS... If not NOS its absolutely impeccable... I may have painted it 39-1/2 years ago, ou: I just dont remember. Anyway, if interested, PM me for details. Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Sorry guys I'm confused. Is there any heater hose bracket for a 72 AC car? Right now I have a zip tie holding the hoses to the back of the AC bracket.
Yes Bruno, I need both the 1230709 Clip that goes under the throttling valve and the clamp that holds the two hoses together around the insulator. If you have both of those please let me know what you want for the shipped to 22315. Thanks
