Like the title says, I need a single mounting stud to replace a missing one on a 67 GS Grill. They are the ones that screw into the grill plastic, then bolt to the car on the other side. Please let me know if you have one, and what you need to get for it. The one missing is the lower middle stud. Thanks!

I have a number of grill studs, I will look and see it I have one for a 67. My problem is I may have not marked them. Will post back to what I find. Thanks Bill.

I have a stash of about 1/2 dozen broken '67 grills so I'm pretty sure I have the part you need and can save Bill the trouble of searching for his grill studs and trying to identify the correct part. I'll go check and report back soon.

Bill, I wasn't trying to beat you to it, but since mine were very accessible, I thought I would offer to help.

    Redlark67 (Got a name?),
I just looked at my spare grilles and there are several useable studs.

You didn't mention which stud you need, the top or the bottom? they are different lengths.

After comparing all these grills I see that there are 2 different styles of stud used for the top and two different styles used for the bottom. They were not mixed on the same grill, so if a grill had Style A, it had those in several locations, If it had style B, it had them in several locations.

So look at your grill and tell me which stud style you need and I'd be happy to send it to you free of charge
. I ran a nut down each one and the threads are fine but you will still want to clean it up just to make it look a little nicer.

Gary: Thanks for your help, I greatly appreciate it. The missing stud is the lower stud directly in the middle of the grill. I'm not sure which one it is of the 2 lowers you have pics of, as I don't have much to compare it to. I will gladly pay you to send me both lowers you have pictured. Thanks again, Gary.

    Allan,
The two studs I have pictured are functionally the same, just two different styles. Send your preferred mailing address to me in an email to buquick@comcast.net and I'll get them on their way, no charge.
