    Single Stage Stage 1?

Hi guys, Im looking for a rust free gs350 or skylark to use as a donar car....probably going to cut the quarters out of it to help with the restoration of my black car. It has to be a 09A or something extrememly close because I want to have all matching date codes. I have the original engine and trans, so I want it to be as original as possible. Its certainly worth cutting up a nice gs350 or skylark because its a stage 1 and I believe that all stage 1s are worth saving. I am particularly looking for a set of good quarters and the back panel running from quarter to quarter under the back glass. Once again, I want the date codes on the quarters to match my build date, so that is the purpose of all of this. If anyone has a nice skylark or gs350, please give me a call or just post back here. No drive train required. My cell is 662-416-0900.

Just curious, where are the date codes located? If you are going to replace the quarters, does it matter if the dates are near the same - it won't be original.

You have 1300 posts and you dont know where the date codes are on the quarters?

Nope! Never had a need to. What does the number of posts I have have to do with anything.

I havent seen date codes on 1/4 panels either. Where are they hidden?

They are hidden right out in the open.

All you have to do is open your trunk lid and look at the area of the quarter that is hidden by the top corners of the trunk lid.

PS. If you are interested in knowing how to decode them, you could always buy one of my books.

Ryans-GSX Have fun, life is short.

Guys I have to tell you if you get a chance buy one of Duane's books on date codes. You will be forever changed to the way you look at a car. It really is important to know the date codes. Many car changes are made from time to time and you could end up with a part that does not fit or work correctly on your restoration project
