From your post I would assume that you are looking for a complete engine. What condition? Running or rebuildable?

 

Ya i need it to be a complete engine. Preferiblely running

 

I havea complete 71 TR 455 from a 71 GS 455 car inthe machine shop right now . The intake is a poston no carb or manifolds . The engine is being rebuilt and will be done soon PM me if your interested in a fresh engine

Where are you located and how much are you asking for it?

 

I have several 455 motors, 1970, 1971, 1973. The 70 is from a GS, and the other two are big car motors. These are complete engines, they will all need a rebuild to be right.

As you can see I am not really that far from you, so call me 319-361-6465 and I'll discuss them with you, but only if you and John cant get things worked out.

 

I am in St Louis Mo. I want what I have into the rebuild and I have yet to pick it up but it will be close to 3500.00 . Complete rebuild with the only part reused the rods that were resized . I will be home tuesday and at the firehouse monday

That is a very good price for a total re-build on a 455. You wont find anything better in IA.

 

The engines actually for a buddy of mine. I believe the rebuilds going to be out of his price range. But sounds reasonible thanks for the offer. Its for a 1987 regal and he just need something to put in it for now hes going to rebuild it later. TurboV6 ill have my buddy give you a call about the engines you have.
