Have been looking for a solid car for my son's first ride. We both want it to be a Buick! We would love to have a GS but can would be happy with a nice Skylark to build on. I am a newbie to the board so thanks for all the help!

Hello Samdad, I may have what you are looking for. It's a 1972 GS 350 hardtop. Blue exterior with black vinyl top, and white interior. It is a 1 owner car from New Mexico. Very straight and 95% rust free. It also has auto trans, & air. This is a true GS not a clone. Runs and drives nice, easy restoration. I am in the Knoxville Tn. area please contact me if interested at RJSCONTRACTORS@AOL.COM. I am very reasonable on the price. Thanks Rich

I've been seeing one around KY for 9 months or so. It appears to be a project car, it's a 72 GS ragtop-white with black top. I believe they were asking $6000. I'll keep an eye open. I saw it recently but can't remember where?

I have seen the car. It is complete, but very rough. Needs quarters, trunk floor, door repair, fender repair etc. Too much for me. Runs but 3rd out of trans. Nice owner though and will negotiate. If someone needs info let me know.

i have a 70 Custom listed in the for sale section. I'm pretty close to you and it is very restorable. Rust is a minimum due to car is from Alabama. I has the same motor as the GS, the Hi-Compression 350-4 and It runs great. would need painted ub and detailed to be sharp. You may want to consider cloning this one that way if it got wrecked (god forbid) at least it wouldn't be a lost GS. My number is 573-243-2249. There are pics on the ad.

I appreciate the info Moparman. The car looks like a steal for someone on the board. Someone else has contacted me about a nice GS that is really what I was looking for. Right now I am headed that direction for my next purchase.
Thanks again and good luck on your sale.
