Well, the search is over. On Thanksgiving I took possession of a 1970 GS 350 Clone that was previously owned by at least 2 people on this very thread. Having the knowledge of the cars history, along with the guidance of Mark and Chris along the way, I was able to purchase the car. I cannot thank Chris enough for all his patience and advice along every step of this process. Also having Mark available to discuss the car's history and restoration was a real bonus. It is everything I could have wanted and more. So far everyone I have met on this website has been very generous with their advice and support, and I hope to be able to return the favor as I get deep embedded in this hobby. :beers2: Cheers Thanks again Tony Cuiffo
Sorry about that, it is a convertible. This is a picture I got from the seller. I haven't shot any of my own yet.
Chris, I cannot thank you enough. Your sincerity and generosity taught this gruff NY'er a thing or two about humanity. I hope I get the chance to "Pay You Back" by helping someone else down the line..... PS The girls love Daddy's "Old Fashioned Car". :beer Tony
It was out here in WA waiting for the right family to come along and adopt it. Tony, u will need to come u with a name for it. My girls called it Root Beer Floater and the guy I bought it from called it Brown Sugar. I don't think Dick named her.
The name that seems to be sticking is "Daddy's Old Fashioned Car". It sounds especially cute the way the 4 year old says it. But I am open to suggestions..... Tony
