    nailhead lookin !

don't forget you are gonna need mounts oil pan and correct exh manifolds ( but you will be going with headers i take it after lookin over your pics - that was a little wierd - almost a twin of my 65 special post - looks like same condition , color , dog dishes , etc ) anyway - was kinda savin this ( am sure it would look ideal in a nice fenderless high boy rod ) but hey money talks ? original idea for motor for mine was 401 but going with a 350 now . 1965 'cat 401 and switch th400 . came out of a very nice lookin one owner car. trans gone over by good local shop with h.d. kit and have a new poston3000 switch converter . engine is machined etc but still apart and stored . new h.d. +30 cast pistons , rods done ( mag'd beam'd arp ) , new poston oil pump , rings and bearings . crank mag'd , polished etc . whole thing balanced . heads done with hardened exh seats and spring pads enlarged for new kb dual valvesprings . new GSCA plated headers . needs rocker arm setups . block deburred and checked and bored +30 . stock intake , carb , v/cvrs , nuts/bolt , etc . extra 66 riv motor parts and trans and gaskets . the biggest hurdle will be getting it to you . will have to figure $$ if you may be interested . thanks . del

    your looking for a 401?

I have a complete 401 4bbl motor with sp400 tranny along with the correct mounts, pan (and intake for pump) and exhaust manifolds for it to go into a 'lark. I was planning on doing just that but my wife put the kabash on it. :Dou:
So, I'm building the 300 for it.
