Its been over a month since my Sprinter went under water. Working out of my 4 door pick up is getting old. The Ins company did as they do and short changed me on the value of the van so I only have a fraction of the $'s it will take to replace it. New 2012 vans striped down are going from 33K - 40K. Ive seen sellers listing low mileage used from 25 - 30K. I can spend 15- 25K. looking for 08 or newer. Under 50000 miles. Must have PW,PL and cruise. Shelves , bins ,racks and a partition is a +
Mine was in great shape. No rust and just over 100K on the clock. Im thinking I should have kept it and put one of my BBB/Th400 combos in it. Fuel milage would suck but boy what fun to drive.
Im pretty sure Ive found a van. Its located near Buffalo NY. Car fax says its one owner bought new at the same dealership. Titled and regestered in Fl is entire life and then traded back in at the origional dealership.Sales guy said it belonged to a personal friend of the dealerships owner. Its set up as a handicap accesable van with a lift and hand controls and fully optioned. I'll remove and sell that stuff. 31000 miles for 23K. Once the paper work gets done I'll fly up there and drive back. That gives me a empty van to transport any parts that need to come South. I can go I-95, I-75 or I-71 S.
