WTB - 1972 GS front Grill. (the plastic one) Not skylark (metal one). This request is probably really hard....but who knows. Maybe someone has one thats not cracked. Oh yeah. Please no cracks. Thanks,
Re: Re: WTB - 1972 GS Front Grill Thanks for the post. Looking for one alittle cheaper.... But if thats all, I will keep an eye out on the auction.
Excellent Used no cracks 350.00 with GS emblem + shipping Repaired used with emblem 250.00 + shipping NOS contact gsfred on ebay or check other auctions
Okay, didn't know they were that much. I guess I could have tried to repair my broken one years ago before I threw it out. I guess my metal one will do just fine.
Trust me... The used one John is offering really isn't a bad price. Plus, it comes with an emblem.....you'll be hard pressed to find one any cheaper than that..:Smarty:
What is your price range? I agree with Brett above - you're unlikely to get a better deal than John is offering. Again, what is your price range?
Around $200.00. I didn't know the pastic grill was so expensive. But I guess original parts are never cheap. I will send John a PM.
72 plastic grill I have one check out in parts for sale under bringing parts to Salem MASH4551 225.00 needs the black paint to be a GS one I have 2 GS ones but higher priced thanks Dan.
Stupid Question??? Probably been asked/answered a thousand times........ With plastic grills for GS's going for hundreds of dollars has anyone in the aftermarket considered a reproducton part?
Re: Stupid Question??? Not for 1972 (yet). I read that the the GSCA might start reproducing the 1971 GS grilles after their run of the 1970 GS grilles is completed. Your guess is as good as mine as to what's after that!
With NOS 72 grilles selling for around 500 to 600 on ebay lately I think a repro is way off . Plus the skylark is the same part except the paint and emblem , the other years are special grilles for GS . John
