Yeah, what a great time we all had! That Gardner exhaust system is the best! Drove my car home after the meeting, and the car really sounded sweet. I gave Ken Lisk a ride in my car and he just couldn't believe what a nice car this is. As you can all see from the pictures,it was perfect weather and great people-it doesn't get any better than this.:TU:
Great time - Thanks to the organizers....another fine job as usual. Not only is Paul Cassidy's 69 GS350 4speed NOT a figment of his imagination, ITS BEAUTIFUL !!! Here's long lost siblings finally re-united after 35 years

Just a reminder to all N.E. members: Any articles or car features that you can send in for our upcoming Mar./ April newsletter need to be sent in ASAP since we will be going to print in a couple of weeks. We need to get this issue out as early as possible because there will be info on the Norwalk event as well as the GS Nats. I hope everyone had a good time at the meeting and that nobody went home hungry! It was good to see everybody there! You are the reason we continue to be such a strong organization. 24 years and counting!
This was my first spring meeting and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it! I was on the edge of my seat with the hotly contested officer elections. The campaigning was fierce, the mud-slinging intense, barbs flying in every which direction. For a moment the room grew silent as there was almost the possibility that there might even be more than one candidate for any of the officer's positions. Big words like "Emeritus" were being thrown around casually. In the end a new position was created, Assistant Editor, and Alan Wander championed the new cabinet post! Is that "Assistant Editor Emeritus"? Congrats Alan! In all seriousness, what a great group of guys the board is. I can understand why no one would even think about a change. I have felt so welcome by not only them, but by pretty much everyone I have net so far. I was talking to John Csordas, Rick Martinez, and Doug Hecker at the end of the day and told them how lucky I thought this club was. I belong to other clubs for other cars and the fun factor is no where near what it is for these Buick guys. :TU: I definitely enjoyed riding in Carl's car. I told him it was like 1970 all over again, as that car is basically new. I couldn't help saying "PUNCH IT!!!" every thirty seconds or so on the way home. I also enjoyed hearing TufBuick's stories of run-ins with the law over the years! I'm sure he was/is popular with the cops out on Long island! George's '67 is truly a beauty to behold in person. Very well done car that certainly sounded awesome when he left and got into it just slightly. Shooting the breeze in the parking lot with Larry, Alan, Tommy T, etc, checking out Jim Ramsey's '70 Stage 1 he just picked up with 65kmi original on it, all good stuff. (Jim, I'll give you $100 over my last offer). Ended the day checking out Bob Christo's two GSX's he has stacked at his house. A '70 saturn yellow and a '71 limemist. Guess which one I like better??? All in all a very fun day. Many thanks to John Csordas for hosting it at Reader's Digest and to everyone else who worked hard to make the day a success. :TU:
Wow, thanks for sharing the pics and the video of Geroge's car!:3gears: :bglasses: Looks to be a very nice day too, with good weather:beer -Cody
Great weather, great cars and great people!!! You couldn't have asked for anything more. I think I just surpassed my 12th year anniversary with the Northeast chapter...and it gets better and better every year. This is definitely the best group of people around! Thanks to everyone for making it a success. Alan, thanks for "reuniting" the 69's at the get together. Nice picture. It actually felt good to drive the 69 for awhile. As much as I like racing the wagon and bringing it to the Buick events, I still enjoy hopping in the GS 350 and banging gears just for the heck of it. Enjoying the pictures Ron, but I have to ask...where's Yardley?? A lot of nice cars!!!
Thanks for the kind words Ken I couldn't and wouldn't do it if we didn't have great members that we do.:beer Looking forward for another get together real soon. Thanks again for reelecting me I think?
I agree with you 100% John-we definately have a great group of guys(and girls) in our club. This is what it's all about. I too want to thank you all for re-electing us. Here's to another club year!:3gears: :TU:
