Mart I thought about ways to try and even things out. Given my expertise in making a mess or otherwise screwing up a good thing, I decided to leave good enough alone this time.
I hear you! My last pump was set to .0015. Slid the gear faces on surface plate with 1,000 grit to polish slightly. Resurfaced filter covers come out nice.
Hey now those are pretty! I used a scotch brite type green and red pads on a flat surface to smooth out the cover surface some. Much better then what I started with but not art quality like yours.
