Just installed a 200r4, I think having the engine work harder is causing some issues (or not). from stop or while driving it just cuts out, even stalled the engine a few times. I tried changing the Accelarator pump settings to no avail. I have been having some perking issues with carb but that should not cause. I have a fuel regulator set at 5.5lbs, i looked down the Primaries and can see the squirt when the accel pump is activated. Here is what I am running for jets and metering rods. jets: Prim 389, Sec 392 (mabe that is 382 hard to tell) metering rods 62 52. Could I be having spark issues? I have one of those Accel units similar to Petronix. Suggestions?

    carb: AFB comp 500cfm
    eng: 300ci
    cam: poston 110
distributor recurved: initial timming at 15, all in by 2200rpm at 38

Have you checked the carburetor step up springs? If they are too weak, the car will do what you described...
