Worth $3k? 70 Buick GS

Body looks pretty thrashed. At first glance with the info that is available, I think not.

 

No, and wasn't worth it for $2000 when it was in Rockland last month either.

 

Judging by where its at, "Woods Auto Parts", I'd guess it was eventually sold there for near scrap. He probably gave $500 and thinks he's now going to cash in on this hulk. But there are some parts on there from what I could see.

 

looks like a cobbed up mess. 71 rear bumper. maybe a grand but not 3. wonder if the alarm still works, LOL wonder if it is an actual GS or a clone?

3 K seems a little high but if you go through some of the old parts for sale
ads there is probably at least $1500.00 just in the front unless the grill is broke and the hood has some serious rust issues. It looks like the GS air intake is there.
What is a good core support bringing these days? without knowing the rust situation its hard to say what it is worth.

 

I'd give him 1500 if the frame is good. Looks like the right rear wheel still has the original center cap

 

I wouldnt pay a grand for it.
But that doesnt mean somebody wont pay what there asking.
