Installed the TA212 cam about 6k miles ago and it's worn out. I would suspect maybe break in no good, but the distributer gear is worn real bad to... how centered are the lobes supposed to be on the lifters? i know there is a slight offset, but mine has a good amount. I compared it will a 3.8 that is half dissasembled and mine looks way off. also I have about .025-.030 end play in the cam... the cam cover isn't worn.... what's up with that? o, and the double roller chain is stretched as bad as my orignal one was.
I can't elp you much but someone will, don't worry. Can we have some more background on what you replaced with the cam? How many miles on the motor? Were there any problems with the motor before the cam swap?
