Good thread.....I spent 30 years in corporate America.

Been thru more downsizing and restructuring than I want to remember.

I personally laid off hundreds of people.

In 2002, there was another round of downsizing. I did the unthinkable: volunteered to be laid off. At the time I was making over $150K per year.

So, you think I am nuts, right?

    Well, the 50% airline <a href="http://go-advertising.com?go=travel" onmouseover="window.status = 'goto: travel';return 1" onmouseout="window.status=''">travel</a>, the 80-100 hour weeks takes it toll.

I decided to start a small consulting company, and never looked back.

Making money and doing well. Never happier!

So, young bucks, blaze your own trails.

If you have a positive attitude and are not afraid of hard work, success will come.
