So, any Buicks planning to be at the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detriot. I'm here on a work project and hope to see quite a few. Unfortunately, mine is in Houston.

    Dream Cruise

I hope to make the cruise on Sat. My buddy Joe might be there in his 72 GSX if he gets the motor back in time. Give a yell at us if you see our cars!:TU:

I'll be there if my convertible is back from the mechanic by then...I hope! Otherwise, I'll be prowling the cruise-or should I say crawling the cruise in my coupe-navy blue with white top and interior.....I'll keep on the lookout for Buicks!:beer :TU: David

A week early, but quite a showing. I made it out there last night and it was a dreamworld. Hundreds upon hundreds of all kinds. Just about anything you think you'd want to see. Among Buicks... spotted a really sweet '66 or '67 Riv and a nice red 1st generation Riv... probably a '65. Unfortunately, this project has kept me in the building for way too many 18 hour days. There should be plenty to see during the week, too. Just need to get over there.

Wish I had the Cent with me.....

Looking forward to spotting some Wildcats...

I can vouch for the quality of Robs car......Fast and beautiful!
I'm sure that he has lots more in it than the 25k he is asking.
    Rob
I will try to stop by and see you and Norm on Sat.

Did see quite a number of Buicks tonight..... several Wildcat convts..... Rivs.... LeSabres..... and more GSs and GNs than I've ever seen. Looked like the GNs coordinated. They had a straight line of no less than 15.

And..... GRNSPRT and 1BADGS.... if you're out there..... lookin' good!!!!!!!

i was at the cruise , saturday , parked in a lot at pleasant ridge . left there to make the trip around woodward at 11:00 a.m. and returned to my spot at 3:30 p.m. - 4 1/2 hours . my gs ran great & never broke 205 degress in stop & go .
pontiac was a mess , a snails pace , short green lights . i travelled alongside a lovely & talkative & attractive young lady in a red with white interior calif suncoupe (72?) . we were able to talk back & forth for only a minute . said she was a friend of roberta .
the detroit paper on sunday , stated there were upwards of 40000 cars & 1.5 million people . i understand that one woodward cruiser car burned & also a motorcyclist was injured in an accident . it was an ideal day , weatherwise for the cruise . had a lot of fun . saw some other buicks - black 70 (?) ragtop, a yellow gsx (?) , several 68,69 hardtops & converts . lots of mopars , chevelles . u name it , it was there ; even a souped up gremlin and an amphlicar .
look forward to next year .

    Great cruise

I also had a great time at the cruise...spent most of it actually cruising...but boy was my foot /leg sore from the clutch work!

    Roberta Buick Berta

That would have been Brenda from Ann Arbor, she got the car done last year in time for the Buick Centennial and then went to Woodward for it's first cruise, she did most of the restoration herself, with a little help from me, and a couple of other friends, that did the paint job etc. I didn't feel up to the traffic jams this year, since I work in Pontiac and drive from Flint every day there for the last 13 years! I stayed home and clean out the Grand National side of the garage and even took the GN out for a drive about 20 miles or so, now it has over 6200 miles on it!

Here's the real story on the '72 Sun Coupe
