Nick, Duane and Adam could probably restore and flip that thing over the long Thanksgiving weekend!

I saw that on racingjunk about 3 years ago. If it needs a frame,I have a correct one from another 71. Hopefully it doesn’t.

Anything 4 speed is cool. Can't remember seeing another 4 speed convert for sale. Ever.

Definitely a rare car but 18,500 isn't even in the realm of realistic. Honestly, I'd have to really think hard about it at 3500

For as long as it has been for sale,at least 3 years, the majority must also think it’s too much,or maybe it is in even worse shape when actually looked at. Who knows.

It's a $30k car done, rare or not, it's a bad color combo, and rough as corn Cobb, he is at a very minimum of 10k to much imo. That's what I wonder what happens to these wildly over priced cars that these hard headed owners refuse to come down to reality on???

Are the wood grain door inserts an option? Rare factory in dash auxiliary gauges too.

I've never seen a GS with the woodgrain myself, I've had several larks with it tho, only 72 GS's I've had all had the standard straight bench interior. I'm thinking Mike Sobatka's 72 orange stage 1 had it tho

Someone ought to get it before the rust molecules get tired of holding hands and that car ends up as a pile of numbers matching metal dust. It’d be a great $30-35K car after a thorough $80-90K restoration.

Our old sunburst yellow 72 Stage 1 had the woodgrain door panels.

I have very little doubt that someone told him that they saw one exactly like it sell at Barrett-Jackson for $80,000, which, of course, would make $18,500 a bargain. After he dies with it his wife/kids will sell it to the first person who comes along with an offer. Not necessarily a reasonable offer but any offer, something I'm also reasonably sure he hasn't had yet.

We had a local buick fella pass away recently, his wife now has a GS hood and spoiler, I'm sure both are rough as a Cobb, and she wants $2500 for the hood with a hole for a tach, which I'm willing to bet $100 is in the wrong place, and what I'm sure is an aftermarket glass spoiler for another $1k ha, all because "that's what they are on ebay" I'm bought sick and tired of hearing that crock of ****, I'm going off next time ha

I see the seller neglected to mention that this car has the very rare Fred Flintstone braking option. If the regular brakes fail to work for any reason, simply stick your feet right through the paper thin floor boards!

Yes, I know that this car is Sandpiper Beige which if the cars that I've seen of that color are true to color are more tan* than my car will be. But, every few weeks, as my car slowly move to the front of the line of the shop it is at, I debate the Bamboo Creme, black interior combo('70 GS455 convertible). Don't get me wrong, I like the earth tones (both my Firebirds are '68 verdoro green). I was at Mecum Indy and saw this car freshly done: https://www.mecum.com/lots/SC0518-326887/1970-buick-gs-stage-1/ and think with some redlines that it would look even better.

*Maybe tan isn't the right color to use, perhaps more white compared to the yellow of Bamboo Creme

STAGE III Lost Experimental 455-4 Bolt Main Block.

I'd rather take a beating than that car!

The seller is in a tough spot. He has nothing to gauge his price against. It's certainly rare. I could only imagine the price if it was a 455 car or a stage 1
