Hey everyone. I'm working on an engine and trans swap in my 65 Skylark and I decided to swap in the interior harness out of the donor car also because the Harness in the buick is in pretty bad shape, wires just crack and break all over the car. The part I'm having trouble with is the dash stuff. I'm using a harness out of a 94 Pontiac TransAm. I have gotten rid of a lot of stuff on it but I need to know if someone has a wire diagram for a 65 Skylark dash. I am having a really hard time with figuring out the associated lights all over the dash, as well as the turn signal switch on the column. I noticed there are wires that come off the steering column and plug into another set of wires under the dash then go to the fuse box and those are the ones I need to know what they're for. Any help would be great thanks.
I am no expert but if I read this right your trying to use a wiring harness from a 94 in a 65? I really don't think they would be compatible without a LOT of work.
Ya, thats what I'm doing. I'm swapping in the whole harness though fusebox and all. The only thing that I need help with is the dash lights and blinkers.
