  1. Hey guys i have an 85 cutlass that org came with the buick v6, ive put an early model buick 350 in it , but i dont kno how to wire my fuse box up. What colors need to go where? My electric seats work but no illumination, dome light switch works but no power at windows. Basically everything will power on that doesnt require the key to be forward, everything else no power. No wanting to use computer.

Contact Ken from Everyday Performance in the vendors section. He has run a 80s G body without a computer so he will know what you need to do there.

  3. The problem i think is my steering column, well the ignition switch on the column. I checked all the wires goin in but no power out the purple wire. Accessory wire only worked if key is in start position. So somethin must have went wrong with that switch.

Maybe an issue with the neutral safety switch.

  5. Everything works in "start" position, except the actual starter. My safety switch is in the column, if shifter is not in "P" the key wouldnt even allow me to turn it all the way forward. Its like the contacts are out of place or sumn, normally when you start ur engine, nothing else has power but the starter. But in this case starter or the purplr wire has no power and everything else works, as if the contact position has moved up a notch.

Since my engine is from a late 60s model, would i need to use a voltage regulator? It had one attached to it when i bought the engine and trans. Idont know how to hook it up, so its just layin around the garage.
