Are you saying that you are missing just the yellow wire, but have everything else? The yellow wire is only necessary for running points. If you have an electronic ignition, it is unnecessary.

If you are missing the black and brown wires, you are missing the fusible links, and you need to replace them. Fusible links are available at most auto part stores. Get one 14 ga, and one 16 ga. If you look at the harness wires, there are two thicker wires, one 10 ga., the other 12 ga. attach the 14 ga. fusible link to the 10 ga. harness wire, and the 16 ga. fusible link to the 12 ga. harness wire. These are the two main power leads for the car. The smaller wire supplies the headlight circuits only, the bigger wire supplies the rest of the car. They need to be protected by fusible links. Just attach both fusible link wire ends to a ring terminal, and that goes to the battery terminal on the solenoid.

Alos a new wiring harness is an option. About $160 for an engine harness. They are real nice and good for piece of mind.

Mark, who did you order from? M and H or Factory Fit are best.
