Wired up the Mallory ignition box and I can't get the tach to work..

I tried connecting it to the trigger wire from the Petronix LS to the box, I tried the tachometer output on the box, I also tried just connecting it to the -coil.. Mallory says I need a 29074

Of course everytime you upgrade something you have to buy something else to make it work..

 

yes ya need the adapter...the new stuff is digital..the old stuff is analog..
