I'v got a friend who's really down on his luck, and I'm hoping someone can give him a break. He daily drives a 73 chevy nova [yes, it's that bad  ] and the transmition arm that connects the wiper motor to the arm assembly has rusted thru. At the very least, we could probably get away with replacing the bolt on "hemi cap" that connects the arm to the ball-stud, but were having absolutely zero luck finding anything local. Also on the same car, the ignition key became VERY hard to turn last week, and the plastic pinion gear on the end of the key lock assembly broke. Once again, having a tough time finding anything local. If we absolutely had to, I suppose we could replace the plastic pinion gear, but something else inside the column is wrong that caused it to break in the first place. If anyone has these items... The tranny arm, steering column, hemi cap, or ignition pinion gear they would be willing to let go dirt cheap, it would sure be nice. Please call him directly at 502-356-2340 His name is Rick Mueller, and he lives in southern Indiana, just across the river from Louisville. Thanks guys! :TU:
