Wiper Motor Upgrades for Original Buicks?

Hey guys,

I have been daily driving my '66 stock car but with recent inclement weather I've noticed the need for something beyond my stock 2 speed wipers.

I've performed a number of searches to see if this has ever been brought up before, but I found nada.

Does anyone know how I can up the power/quickness of the wiper arm? Is there a way to make them intermittent? Is there any way to modify the OE wiper motor to step it up?

you are bascially stuck with the windshield wiper mechanism that came on your car. now the wiper motor could be running slower than when new and thus u could replace it.
automobile companies, in the 100 years of production, still have not invented a great windshield wiper system.

That's cool and all, but what would you do for a switch?

 

They provide it. You might have to do some fab work to make the knob look stock, though.
