    Hi guys

First off my wipers do not work all the time I replaced the wiring harness so I know the connectors are good and best I can tell the terminals on the motor are good, I did tap the black cover on the wiper motor unit and they started to work . is there something in there I can check. also I did check and the swithch in the dash has a good ground.

next my lights pulse , more noticable at idle. all grounds under the hood are good , battary is good , connections at starter are good as well. the voltage regulator and alternator were on the car when I got it , voltage regulator looks original but not sure about the Alt.
I have replaced the wiring under the dash this spring but this issue was there when I bought the car three years ago.
I replaced the wiring because it was a mess from 6 past owners. I can add that someone shorted something as there was many melted wires and connectors.

    thanks :)

I am +1 for the voltage regulator. If it is the '71 in your sig, it has an external regulator...

Yes. I got mine from NAPA last year, I want to say it was $20 or so, but dont quote me on that...

either defective wiper switch, bad wiper switch ground or just a worn out wiper motor.
i had to buy a new wiper motor + pump 2 years ago. the motor had died.
