Anybody know where to get the spring (that always rusts) for the Trico wiper arms? It is about 2 inches long by perhaps 3/8 inch.
I think it has to come from a donor car. You could go to the local hardware store and check out their selection of tension springs.
If the hardware store doesn't turn up anything, and if you have your original springs, just send them to be replated. Bill
There's a company that sells a lot of classic parts and they have replacement wiper kits that are new. I do not know if they are Trico but they look the same. I'm sure a quick phone call can solve that question. The place is called Original Part Group Inc. www.opgi.com
