Hey guys, I'm stumped again. The metal trim that goes on the inside of the top of the windshield header has holes for screws but the header has these slots. What in the wild world of sports am I supposed to do with that?

Those slots are for oval head sheet metal screws. There are 2 or 3 on the bottom that hold the header trim panel in place.

Also, if I were you, I would go to Home Depot and buy some phosphoric acid. You have rust inside your header as seen in your provided pic. Use a sprayer to blow acid inside the header. Mask off the areas below and shield with plastic until the acid dries.

So just a regular sheet metal screw? I guess its a slot for adjustment. I never noticed the rust before, but the flash sure did light it up. Took a closer look with a flashlight and its not that bad, I'm at the Depot just about every day so I will give your acid trick a try, No idea how to get to the A pillars unless I can shoot the stuff through a straw.I guess the sand blaster cant get everywhere.
    Thanks again
