Anybody found a window cleaner that will remove the scum from the inside of new car windshields without 2 hours of scrubbing? Windex and Rainx don't work.

Vinegar, water, & this ancient invention called a newspaper has worked well for me.

I used a combo of vinegar, water and IPA on my 2019 TourX and it’s been clear since

Use a mr clean magic eraser, gets rid of the grease. FYI they also do a great job cleaning bug gunk off the outside. I use any ol window cleaner and microfiber to finish it off.

Add a touch of ammonia to that vinegar and water mix.

magic eraser also works well to take off the initial buildup, use above mix after.

In case anyone is looking for a great way to clean your glass cooktop, Magic Eraser is great for that.

also will clean a vinyl interior like “MAGIC”

Without straying from the original post...I have been working up the nerve to buy a TourX since we now have two adult german shepherds with a growing 8 year old girl. The back seat of the Impala is "shrinking". How do you like that turbo 4cyl? How do you like that car overall?

I have a method that involves Purple Power. Fill a 5 gallon bucket with clean water, wet a sponge and ring it out, spray Purple Power into the center of the sponge, wipe the windshield, rinse the sponge and and wipe the windshield with clean water, don't allow the Purple Power dry on the windshield. Repeat if needed. Dry with paper towel. Do this in a cool place, not in the sun.

I absolutely love it. It’s got more power than I expected, rides like a Buick should, and it gets attention everywhere it goes. Plus, dealers are knocking $10K off MSRP to move them.

Stoner brand Invisible Glass Wipes clean really well if you follow the instructions.

Our family now has two. It is like having a BMW or Audi for a lot less money. If you are looking for a car you will love it. If looking for an SUV (I hate SUV's) you will not be so happy.

My one sister has one (TourX)....loves it. Wanted a Volvo wagon...I convinced her to grab a TourX before they're gone.......
Other sister wouldn't be seen in a Buick....has to be Lexus, Audi, etc.....not very open minded....like lots of folks out there. Brainwashed.....
......even when her Lexus SUV rusted away (frame) after investing thousands (front axle, air suspension, exhaust)
