Wondering who, if anyone, makes a quality manual window crank? I have some type of aftermarket style that looks nice but they pop back off of the shaft and just spin. You have to push on them in order to make them work. They have the correct clips and washers but functionality is not there. I have some original ones which work well but they look pretty scratched/shabby. Help.................. Thanks for the input
I had the greatest of luck buying window cranks at a local Canadian Tire store in the Help section. They were "no name" ,likely made in China and in a red colored blister pack. They are super quality-excellent chrome, great knob and very tight splines.Too bad they didn't have the proper inside door handles, only the one that fits both sides. Once in awhile there are parts that are surprisingly good.Maybe one of the U.S. chains carries the same" red blister pack" no-name type. Rod
i had just the opposite luck with the ctc "HELP" cranks. they would spin as scott's did. the gear cut was not fine enough.
