Both would be the 4T60e. Possible differences would be the final drive ratio, VSS reluctor count, and Torque Converter stall speed. If your converter is good, have it flushed and reuse. 4T60e Application Chart You'll need to crawl under the pass. side of your car and look at the codes on the transaxle. Compare to the ones in that chart. BTW.....Bonnevilles and LeSabres were both H bodies back then.
