I dont what is original for my 69 GS400 motor. It is a 400. In the pictures the rocker arms that were taken off of my motor are on the top. The one below are from TA PERFORMACE.

The look different from each other (my old ones look more curved and are flat on the bottom) and what I am asking is will the ones I bought from TA work or did the send me the wrong ones.

Lastly the spacer in between the spring and the rocker arm that the bolt goes through, can I use my old ones. Are they different??

    THANKS MUCH

Your originals appear to be the 1967 design, the TAs look like 1968-1969 versions. the '68-'69 setup can interchange with the '67's but the ratio is different - '67 is 1.59:1, '68-'69 is 1.54:1 if I remember right. The separating washers should work on any '67 to '69.

Can anyone else shed some light on this situation?

Yes, your "originals" are the 1967 design. Same but different, they are interchangable. Some say the `68-`69 are stronger though. If there is a difference in ratio it is negligible.

I have used both types on a 400. There is definetly more meat in the later style. I didn't notice any performance difference. Yes the bolts and spacers are the same for either set.
