I have a 64 Skylark with the 300, and the original 2 speed tranny intact (works pretty well). However, as I was thinking of rebuilding with a shift kit, and the turbo 350 idea popped in my head. How much pain is involved with bolting a turbo 350 to a 300? Is it simple or is it just too much hassle?
I have a TH-350 installed in my 67' 300ci Buick Skylark and it fits and works like a charm, however does anyone know how I can install the kickdown cable to the stock 2bbl rochester? :3gears:
Well, the deed is done. I bought a tranny for the Skylark - a Coan Racing TH350...now I gotta decide on a torque converter. I'm thinking about a stall around 2200 to 2500. Any thoughts?
Have you installed this yet? I have the same question about the kickdown switch. The 350 from a '69 has a kickdown attached to the accellerator linkage inside the car. I'm not sure how to adapt to the '65 Skylark linkage yet. Ted
