Will a Complete '71 GS 350 Exhaust Also Fit a '71 GS 455?

I'm using a brand new, complete Gardner exhaust on my '71 GS 350.

If I were to swap to a 455, would my 350 Gardner exhaust bolt right up?

Hi there, the system itself will be the same except where the downpipes from the manifolds are will be slightly different than the 455 version.

 

So no, it will not bolt right up, but can be adapted. I picked up the different pieces from TA, to adapt my TA 350 2.5 mandrel exhaust system, to the 455 that I had installed a couple years ago. Don't know what you'll need to do with a Gardner system.

 

Did you try to call Gardner maybe he can sell you new headlines?

All i need is new head pipes for a 350 to 455 swap. Everything else is the same.
