I know i need different rods, lifters, and rockers.... is there anything else?

Took my motor into the machine shop to find both of my heads had cracks.

You can use them but you need to block off the center coolant passages. The 73-80 blocks have a scallop that covers this passage making it a dead end. if you do not plug the passage then coolant will spill into your crank case.

It is normal for 68-72 heads to be cracked. In most cases the cracks have been there for years and the engine runs fine with no leaks. The 73-80 heads have an extra coolant passage that pretty much solved the cracking problem from what I have seen.
