Will 68 GS400 frame mounts bolt up correctly to a 70 frame?

I have 2 1968 GS400 frame mounts to bolt my 455 into my 69 GS. The car has a 1970 GS frame in it. The drivers side frame mount should be fine but the 68 passenger mount is different and before I attempt the installation and fight with it, I thought I would ask on here and see what anyone says. I guess another question would be; are the frame holes in the 68 on up all the same?
The mounts look like the ones in pic.

    Hey Dave,

I think 68-72 are the same. If I recall they both should be square. The one on the right looks correct, the other does not.

The one on the left appears to be one like a 67 GS400...Both of the correct looking ones look lik the one on the right...

Got this off of an old 1968 GS400. This is what was used on the 68 GS400 frame. Buick changed to the same mounts in 1969. I have the motor mounts to go with them. I know it would be easier to buy another like the drivers side but this is what I have. So... FYI.
I measured the distance from the back of the motor mounts to the back of the block. There is about 3/4 difference. I transfered that info to the frame with the mounts sitting on it and my measurements come out to line up with holes on the frame. Drivers side ahead 3/4". So it looks like this is a go. And I guess GM kept all the same holes in the frame. Lucky for me. Only thing that I was wondering was why did they use what looks like a 67 mount on the passanger side and the newer style mount on the drivers side in 1968? Did they forget to put the extra holes in the frame on the right when frame was made? It is the only year that they used these.

Here is a pic before I bolt them on. S6304721.JPG
