Hello all, Will manifold casting #1359122 which is for a 64 300 fit a 65 300? I don't see why it wouldn't but I though I'd ask. Thanks, Frank
I've done it, but everybody says it can't be done.o No: It's been so long, I don't recall all the details, but: -Intake ports are smaller on the alum '64 300....so I opened them up and matched them pretty well. -There's a difference in water and exhaust passages, so I had to block something.....probably an exhaust heat port in the head. - Not sure which intake gasket I used, but only one of them will work. It works for me!
