Hi guys out there,i have a 64 Wildcat convertible with a 425, my question is if anyone knows how many Cats there was sold with the 425,thanx in advance Peter from Sweden.
As I have read the standard engine for the Wildcat in 64 was the 325 hp 401. Optional was either the 340 hp 425 Wildcat 465 or the 360 hp 425 Super Wildcat.
My 64 convert came with the 401 from the factory but was replaced with a 65 425 before I bought it. Gary:beers2:
'64 Wildcat and Electra came std with 401 cid, 325 HP. Optional 425 CID. 340 HP or 360 HP with the Dual Quads. Wildcats could be had with a 4-spd borg-warner T-10, STH-400, and possibly a 3-spd Borg Warner on the tree.
