The Wildcat class in the Car Show has been brought back for the 30th GS Nationals and entry into that class with it's Best Wildcat Award is as per GSCA Nats registration rules and fees. All entrants to the GSCA Wildcat class will also be eligible for the Wildcat Nationals awards also........ We will also have a special place for all the Wildcats that are participating in the Wildcat Nationals to park and display their 'Cats......The Cat's Lair will be in the grass on the right at the top of the hill after you enter Beech Bend Raceway Park...... If you do not enter the GSCA class......all you will have to do to enter the Wildcat Nationals is show up and pay a spectator fee for you and your passengers and park your Wildcat in the Cat's Lair.........then you are eligible for awards in these classes TOPCAT Award.......my award to the Wildcat (other than mine) that i like the most....every Cat's in the running. Most FEREL Wildcat..high miles,patina....perfect survivor with low miles...200k daily driver beater.......all could win this award.Must be never restored...updates OK....... Best Drop-Top Wildcat.........convertible 'Cats only.........a rare breed. Top Family Wildcat....a 4-door only award......i had some VERY cool 4-dr 'Cats ! Quickest Wildcat.....whoever lays down the fastest ET by a Wildcat !!! All Wildcat Nats car owners will get a free original 24x36 GSCA logo poster for attending with their Wildcat. Bill I can bring our 2 GS Cats next year. This year we just have the dragster here. Will this be going on in the future? I can give a hand if you need some more help. I work at Beech Bend now so let me know if there is anything I can do. Glad to see the Cat class back:TU: .
My wife is giving me a hard time about this trip. She wants to fly in, not because she's afraid of a 1060 mile trip in the Wildcat.............................................................................................. But because the SEATS are RIPPED!!!!!:rant: :rant: :rant:
cover the seats with a blanket.......o No: mine are ripped also but it is being fixed as we speak replacing the carpet,package tray, recovering the seats and dying the door panels to match.. sholuld be done in a couple of weeks scott
Bill , i am going to try to be there, my daughter is graduating from high school out in Maui the end of May so depending on the travel plans we need to make to be at graduatiion I am looking forward to the GS nats in my GS cat. The car is having the interior done now so by May she should be raedy to go. If I make it the Cat will be sporting all kinds of parts from the cats lair. Looking forward to seeing you there.
Tom, if you go, how long will it take you to get there, and how long will you stay? I'm trying to convince the old lady it's not that bad a ride, and you have an extra 150 miles on me.
Cooterbfd, i spoke wioth a friend in Vermont and from his house which is pretty close to interstate 91 it is nearly 16 hours. I think if i find i can attend I would make a 2 day trip out of it. fortunately i have a pretty flexible work schedule. But what is 16 hours in a road sofa like a wildcat, just sit back, fire up the stereo and go down the road.

I was hoping to attend the 2010 Wildcat Challenge, but during the last Nor'easter which we got about 36 inches over night, this cause the collapse of my structure that house the Wildcat and 3 other Buicks. I have been digging all week and hopefully tomorrow will be able to get the cars out to see what type of damage the car have ray:
