I just got a 1963 wildcat recently and was wanting to get a few correct detail items for under the hood. I was wondering what style hose clamps did it come with for radiator and heater hoses and what battery would it have come with orignally (wanting to get a battery topper for existing battery I have ). It has red heater hoses on it now and I would imagine it came with black.
    Thanks Phil

I think it is the tower clamps and R-59 battery but just wanted someone to verify. The car is not a show piece by any means but just like it to look as original as I can on items that don't cost that much.

    Phil:

Tower top clamps for the radiator hoses, simple spring clamps for booster vacuum lines, corbin clamps or spring for the fuel lines (I have seen both styles). CARS in NJ has the correct spring and tower clamps. My local hardware store has corbin clamps. Don't know about the battery. CARS has the correct battery hold down. Everyone always forgets the boots for the spark plugs too (covers the entire spark plug). I can send pics if you need them.

WOW! I did not know I got that kind of respect! I'm a one trick pony, but that trick is a good one! Thanks Rick!

Thanks for the feedback Chris, I am sure I will be picking you brain again from time to time. It does have the boots on the plug wire that cover the entire plug. I have had several 70 gs cars but this is my first wildcat and am not sure what is correct for it. Thanks again.
