Not my style but nice car anyway. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chev...iewItemQQcategoryZ6164QQitemZ4628423003QQrdZ1
Who would want that car? ME!!!! That is a sweet looking ride! Looks like some real nice craftsmanship! :TU: I like the the lowered look , It has a nice stance and I like the the fact that they kept the stock looks and lines of the car. It just goes to show how Good looking Buicks are! Oh well someday........ Don
Yeah the Buicks have some nice lines....i found that doing a chevelle search this morning. Have you made any progress on that cat yet???
Very nice looking! Is that a stock steering wheel? If aftermarket, does anyone recognize the brand? :TU: Thanks!
Very Slow! I Have made some progess but not as much as I wanted too. I do not have a Garage that I can work in and It has been to Cold or too wet to work on it outside, The Nice days that we have had have been work days...Isn't that the way it always is SUNNY weekdays and Rainy Weekends! The story of my life If I ever get My township to get off their butts and let me know what I can build as far as a garage is concerned, I just might be able to make some head way with my Cat! They have new regs on setbacks from property lines and water shed regulations that are so confusioning that you need to be a lawyer and Civil Engineer to understand all of it! They can't give me a straight answer to some of my questions and all I ever hear from them when I call is "We will have to get back to you on that" :af: I am also waiting for a turn signal switch to put my steering wheel back together. I have managed to collect a few parts for her but I just need the TIME and the weather to work with me and I will go at her like gang busters! I guess after this long response your sorry you asked   Don
Wondered why the guy listed it in a chevelle category? I suppose to get more exposure? Don't think it shows up in the Buick section.
67 special gs clone this car has been on ebay on and off for months with no luck the add has changed since it was advertised as a buick but its the same car very nice
That's what I was thinking as well. I checked on the CC website but couldn't find a match. That doesn't mean it's a discontinued model though.
love the 67 wouldn't change a thing i believe the add said it was a budnik wheel i dunno glad the see the car wasn't all hacked up Rich Martel 70 GS 455 BPG #1599
I just bought that car off eBay, should have it in a couple weeks. I am planning on driving it the way it is and then adding a modern Buick engine to it over the winter, I am thinking Grand National engine right now, I cannot think of any other modern Buick engine that would work. Once I get it I am sure I will have some questions about it, I had been looking for a Chevelle or Camaro of the same vintage when the Buick caught my eye, seems like a pretty rare car.
I talked to the guy that built that car a couple of times on a website he frequents. The car is from Ohio, alot of time and money put into it. I remember seeing his pics on the net before he did anything to it, deffinately looks better with the air ride technologies kit, big brakes, and rims :TU: If you ever decide to sell that engine let me know, I'd slap it in place of my old 340.
Congratulations on a nice buy Bertram! Let us know how the car does! The 340 4 was a pretty stout motor - compression was 10.25 I believe. Was rated at 260 HP. - Bill
If you have any info on the car I would really be gratefull, the guy I bought it from did not know all the details of the car. Do you know what kind of brakes the car has? Does it have a true HID conversion or just bulbs? What shape was the body in? I am assuming it was pretty decent before it was painted. If you have the previous owners info or a link to the site he frequents that would be great. Thanks.
Thanks, Do you know any details about the car? Hopefully the previous owner will reply, it would be really helpful to know everything that has been done. Thanks again.
