Wife ran into the back of my 70 GS

Says her flip flop got stuck under the brake pedal.

Here's the question: Will a 71 GS tail light work on my 70 GS?ou:

 

Nope.I believe all three years are different.Look at OPG or Year Ones catalog but I think the bolt patterns are different.

 

Is it possible to bust the taillight without damaging the bumper?

 

A 71 will not fit on a 70, but a 71 will fit on a 72 and vice versa.

 

Her loss. She now has to buy you a brand new set of repros from the parts place. Break it to her easy...........It'll break her habit of wearing flip flops while driving as well. Sometimes you gotta be the bad guy and teach'em a lesson..........:beers2: :laugh:

 

Pet peeve of mine. I work in downtown Boston alot and almost every woman is walking around going to work and all you hear is clip- clop, clip-clop. I hate the things! No need to run outside - they are different.

You'll need to replace the lens housing as well as the lens to get it to work.

Try to find a correct year replacement.
