Wierd Question, Does the TA Girdle Prevent Main Cap Walking?

    Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

    Something about whether or not a girdle makes it hard to walk. I could be wrong though...............

    I thought we covered that? Answer was NO. I think the caps can still walk fore/aft. But not sure thats a bad thing.

    You don't want any main cap walk at all, that's why I was discussing the use of locating sleeves! Simple to install after the machine shop drills the proper holes and depth. This is not for amateur hour people. It does take a dedicated machine to do it. But, it will eliminate cap walk and it will even do better if the main girdle and engine block girdle was done too. This only opens more problems to the weak block though. Another temporary band-aid.. Its a proven system why not use it? Sincerely Gary M.
