i need to know the weight of a complete 455 engine? gonna get a stand to put engine up for winter

the engine does way 616 lbs, at least that's what I've heard from many many sources.

 

ok thanks, any ideas of keeping the engine from rusting over the winter??? bc i plan on doing the modifcations to it while keeping it in a building, n i dont want the new parts to get rusted

 

Spray down the cylinders and surfaces with a light oil. Usually more than enough...
