Wide open throttle dual quad Wild Kitty!

Just thought that I would share. Didnt get every bug worked out yet but I took my first test drive after installing a factory 2x4 intake. What an awesome feeling!!! The thing pulls so much harder then it did before and its only gonna get better from here! I also drive a 1973 Camaro with a 720 Hp 548 ci big block and even though I drive that, my big boat 66 wildcat still excites and impresses me! :3gears:

In order to really appreciate the performance gain you get from a dual quad setup, you need to have felt the the way the car performed with only one carb. The added top end power with an extra carb is definitely something you can really feel! :Brow:

Where are the pics or better yet a video flyby as both of those babies suck mass amounts of air.

Im not sure what CFM carbs I have. I was wondering the same thing myself. They were 1964 425 carbs and intake from a riv.

 

The stock AFB carbs were rated at 625 cfm each.

 

Just wait until you make the plunge for "Da Rockers". Then those quads will be able to ingest some AIR!!!!!!!

 

Funny you should mention that Tom. I was gonna pull the rockers off of my spare 425 and send them out to you soon. I cant wait!!
