Actually, im pretty sure thats just how ebay does it. When you put in a max bid, it automatically goes up to it or the other persons max bid, but it looks like that in the bid history. when you put in a max bid it bids again and again for you to get you the lead or up to what you want to pay...
Don't know. Looks like bidder 5 bid $205, then bidder 8 came along, bid $210, 216, 221, 227, 241, 253. Then bidder 5 got back into it, until he out bid 8, then back to 8? Anyhow, wished they were forced to show the names.
